Protecting Cows, Promoting CultureGopashtami
Every year, with great joy, we at Ban Bhatt Gau Raksha Gau Utthan Sanskratik Samajik Pravandh Nyas Samiti celebrate Gopashtami on the auspicious Shukla Ashtami of the Kartik month. This significant day is a tribute to Lord Krishna and the sacred cows. It marks the moment when Nanda Maharaj entrusted Lord Krishna with the responsibility of caring for the cows. It also commemorates Krishna’s courageous act of lifting Govardhan Parvat to shield the cows and villagers from Lord Indra’s wrath. We perform puja and sincerely worship Lord Krishna and the cows, seeking their blessings and expressing our deep gratitude for their divine presence in our lives.
Ramlila Karyakram
Every year, we organize a Ramlila Karyakram, a cherished tradition that brings the epic tale of Lord Rama to life. This vibrant cultural event showcases the trials and triumphs of Lord Rama, instilling the values of righteousness and virtue in our community. Through Ramlila, we aim to foster cultural preservation and spiritual enrichment while uniting our community in celebration.
Janmashtami
We joyously celebrate Janmashtami, the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna, who is believed to be known for his profound love for cows in mythology. This special occasion is an opportunity to seek the blessings of Krishna and honor the divine bond between Lord Krishna and cows. Our celebrations serve as a platform to promote reverence for cows and raise awareness about their cultural significance.
